Habroscelimorpha pamphila

(Gulfshore Tiger Beetle)

Habroscelimorpha pamphila has only recently been discovered at a couple of localities in Alabama and Mississippi, on bare or nearly bare saline flats or “pannes” associated with tidal flats or salt marshes along the Gulf Coast. Adults can be found from around May to October and are often most active early in the day.
