Brephidium pseudofea

Known from only Mobile County in Alabama and Hancock County in Mississippi, this species is found in coastal salt marshes where it uses glassworts as its host plants.  It is the tiniest butterfly in these two states and is easily recognizable by its reddish-brown dorsal wing color and and dark metallic marginal spots on the ventral hindwings.
