Calephelis virginiensis

More common in south Alabama and Mississippi but possible throughout both states.  Inhabits open, grassy pine flats and can be found spring to fall.  Dorsal surface bright reddish brown with two thin, silvery metallic bands, one in the postmedian area and the other in the submarginal area.  Ventral surface has same pattern but the color is more bright reddish orange.
