Celithemis amanda

Celithemis amanda is an uncommonly encountered dragonfly that is apparently restricted to the southern 1/4 of Alabama and Mississippi, with the exception of a few populations in Bibb/Chilton Counties just below the Fall Line in central Alabama. Typical habitat includes small, shallow, vegetated ponds.
